With a population of more than 400,000 and spread across 99.5 square miles, Arlington is located precisely midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. In both population and area, it has a unique distinction other than its 48-in-population standing. It is the largest "mid" city in America.

Bond Tracker
The Bond Tracker keeps residents informed about the projects that were approved by Arlington voters in the City’s bond elections. Projects selected for bond packages are presented to voters on a ballot after a series of meetings, tours, public forums and extensive study by a Council-appointed Citizens Bond Committee, generally held every 4-5 years.
